Sometimes I like to take a break from general cute things.  I am trying to expand my portfolio a bit.  c:

Just another work day! I also took some time to indulge in a tasty chocolate frappucciono, which is a total guilty pleasure of mine.

I swear I will get caught up with these at some point! I did some serious Madewell shopping (i.e. my favorite store.  I used to visit one in Atlanta every weekend when I was living there!)  a few weeks ago and have been so excited to wear everything.  I've also done a lot of shopping at Gap as they're new Spring arrivals have been so cute!

I was having kind of a bad day today so I thought I would experiment in photoshop.  It's nice to take a break from illustrator once and a while.

I've been working on some sample graphics for my portfolio.  It's been a nice chance to pace to work on some handwritten fonts and creating something other then cute animals.  

WIWT #1

I've been really inspired by a lot of fashion blogs lately and wanted to start doing some what I wore today drawings...mostly because I am not at all photogenic, but I like to draw! Sometimes I just dress like a bum but there are a few gems here and there.

I wore this recently to a Orlando meet up I attended with my friends.  I was so proud to find that cloud print dress and even more excited to wear it.  It's a great addition to my collection, which consists of star print dresses...the obsession started on my last trip to Japan!  

I am a little bit behind on making art, it's been difficult to find the time.  But I'd love to draw these on a regular basis if possible.  Wish me luck!
