WIWT #2
This is what I wore a while ago to work! The sweater has my favorite animal on it. LLAMAS!!!
Here. Have a llama.
I was having kind of a bad day today so I thought I would experiment in photoshop. It's nice to take a break from illustrator once and a while.
Sample graphics
I've been working on some sample graphics for my portfolio. It's been a nice chance to pace to work on some handwritten fonts and creating something other then cute animals.
WIWT #1
I've been really inspired by a lot of fashion blogs lately and wanted to start doing some what I wore today drawings...mostly because I am not at all photogenic, but I like to draw! Sometimes I just dress like a bum but there are a few gems here and there.
I wore this recently to a Orlando meet up I attended with my friends. I was so proud to find that cloud print dress and even more excited to wear it. It's a great addition to my collection, which consists of star print dresses...the obsession started on my last trip to Japan!
I am a little bit behind on making art, it's been difficult to find the time. But I'd love to draw these on a regular basis if possible. Wish me luck!
Print spotting
I happened to check the Carter's website recently and I spotted my mermaid/sea creature print! It's not available for purchase just yet but I was so excited to see it that I just had to share! :D It's the first time I have seen my artwork used for something tangible.
EDIT: It's available now, just search 'mermaid' on the shop site ;)
Heres a close up:
Sleepy time prints
I may also have a minor obsession with llamas and alpacas...
I simply can't resist their faces and buck teeth!

Well hello again
I haven't really blogged in a loooooong time! I've never been much of a writer. It's been a weird year filled with lots of new experiences and trial and error. I interned for 10 months over in Atlanta and am overall very proud of my accomplishments thus far and it was awesome to live out a part of my dream. I now hope there are new and better things on the horizon for me. :) I'm going to try my best to actually update this thing with some of the projects I had been working on, I'd also love to reconnect with some fellow Ringling-ers!
